Assistir the shield is my brother Assistir PobreTV. In the Highlands of Papua New Guinea, tribal fighting is no longer practiced with bows, arrows, and wooden shields. Commissioned by the Jolika Collection of New Guinea Art, this film describes the loss of this cultural practice and follows a group of young men in the Waghi valley as they experience the art of shield making for the first time.
